The simple fact of the matter is MOST people with Tourettes and the verbal tics DON'T swear, insult or say offensive things when they tic... More than 90% of people with the verbal tics simply make noises or say random words like chicken"... TV documentary makers often look for things they know will draw a bigger audience and they know that putting those who do swear or say insulting things with a lot of their tics into the programme will generate more interest in the documentary... Take one of the tics Paul says in the video of "that's me dad" or the "whistle" he often makes and even that should show you that it's not at all just consisting of saying insults/ swearing etc... 😉

They were quite common when I was a kid back in the 60's & 70's... We called them "Rag & Bone" men... 😉

Some channel owners will use terms like "remastered" int the videos title just try and dray in viewers even though their upload is crap to say the least... But even odder than that is those users/ viewers that then watch them and click on the silly wee "like" gimmick button despite the fact the upload is utter crap quality... Most RUclips users never get past the first thing in a results list when searching for something and simply watch the one at the top and never look down that list just a wee bit further where more often than not they would find a better quality version... tis their loss at the end of the day though...

"Fun Fact"... really has to be one of the most bizarre terms of all time, especially when almost all of the time anyone using it never says anything that is remotely "fun" or often not even a fact !!! Why would someone being on the other side of Tourettes (ie: someone without Tourettes) be frustrating and demoralising ???, you'd think they'd be happy and grateful not to suffer from Tourettes !!! 🤔

You're welcome glad you enjoyed it... 😊 Oddly enough even though this was the big Christmas number one in 77 then for me it always takes me back to the summer of the year before in 76 when we had one of the longest hottest summers of all time here in Scotland... Thinks it's down to the sunny images in the video and the locals still all wrapped up as if it was the middle of winter (we don't see the sun that often here in Scotland so it's rare for us to have to change out of our winter clobber)... 😉
